This test verifies that your knowledge of each plant category or group on your card remains up-to-date. Tailored for experienced plant operators, our tests cover essential industry knowledge and are developed in collaboration with the construction plant and trades sector. Each renewal test is a brief 15-minute assessment, and you’ll need to take a test for each group of categories listed on your card.

If you’ve added a new category to your CPCS Blue Competent Operator card within two years of its expiration, you’re exempt from taking the renewal test for that specific category during the card renewal process.
